25/10/07 Integralvision included in innovation list

Media Inovation Publication

Following on from the Southwest Media Innovation Awards Integralvision have been included in the South West Media Innovation list of the southwest's top media design companies. The publication is supported by Plymouth Media Partnership, Southwest Screen and the Southwest Regional Development Agency. The brochure includes a DVD showcase that highlights Integralvision's ongoing success. The companies and organisations profiled in the publication are at the forefront of media innovation producing work across many different platforms for a variety of consumers and clients.

01/06/07 Technology Provider to the BioCop Project

Integralvision has been invited to be a Technology Partner involved in The BioCop Consortium. The BioCop Project includes 33 partners representing 16 EU Member States. The BioCop project has been constructed to supply regulators, consumers and industry with long-term solutions to the problems associated with chemical contaminant monitoring. As a Technology Provider Integralvision is responsible for the IT and administration of the FP6 Project ‘BioCop’. Besides building the Biocop website and members area, Tasks include maintaining both the public and members websites, the organisation of conferences worldwide and liaising with other partner organisations. Integralvision employs a dedicated account manager to handle this account.

01/03/07 Runners up in Media Innovation Awards

Individuals and businesses involved with screen-based media industry in Devon & Cornwall have been recognised and rewarded at an awards ceremony held in celebration of the first ever Southwest Media Innovation Awards. More than a thousand creative industries practitioners from Devon and Cornwall and their clients were invited to enter the prestigious awards competition to find the star innovators in the region.

The evening was introduced by Mark Hawkins, chair of Plymouth Media-Partnership, and the host for the evening was ITV Westcountry presenter Richard Bath. Winners of each of the 11 categories were also announced at the ceremony, with representatives of the category sponsors presenting each award.

Integralvision were nominated in the Corporate Website category sponsored by Logo Design. This category recognises creative, editorial, technical or commercial innovation for a corporate website. The nominations in this category were:

  • NHS On Line Journey - Coleridge Productions for the NHS and Connexions Cornwall and Devon
  • Pennywell Farm - Integralvision for Pennywell Farm and Wildlife Centre in association with Broadband4Devon
  • Volkswagen EVC Microsite - Twofour for Volkswagon UK

and the winners were... Twofour for Volkswagon. No surprises there. But hey, looking on the bright side, our work was up against the NHS and Volkswagon!
