20/11/03 new Fingals web site
Fingals were the second client we ever worked for almost five years ago. Their original web site accounted for over 50% of the bookings for this luxury hotel in deepest Devon, but we felt the site was looking a little dated. We suggested it was time for a new site and, after some umming and erring they finally said yes. You can view the new site at www.fingals.co.uk. Shortly after we started work on the new site Fingals asked if we could use the new design as a basis for a totally new business they were starting in Spain. Finca La Morera is a beautiful 6-bedroomed converted farmhouse in the heart of Andalucia with views over the Arriate Valley towards the ancient city of Ronda. This is the first time we have reused an existing design but it did mean the site was up and running in record time!
17/11/03 multimedia presentation
A new client who is a very successful graphic designer (Pizza Hut logo, Brittany Ferries, etc., etc.) came to us to request we build her a multimedia presentation for projection at a meeting. We only had a week to complete this project and had to scan in the designer's extensive portfolio. We put three members of our team on this and with a little overtime hit the deadline. Following on from the success of our initial work, we were asked to create print versions of the presentation and her business stationery, and shortly expect to build the web site.
28/10/03 multimedia work for Cambridge University and Jessica Kingsley Publishing
We were approached by Jessica Kingsley Publishing to act as consultants on a multimedia project they had taken over. At first they simply asked us to make minor changes to a few files but this quickly developed into creating a Mac OS X version, writing new installer files, creating new intro movies and generally fixing a wide range of problems and bugs. The project is a massive multimedia DVD aimed at the specialist education market commissioned by Cambridge University. It cost, we are told, three quarters of a million pounds to develop. We didn't get paid anywhere near that much but it was still nice to be asked to finish off such a prestigious project.
27/10/03 French property company web site
We have just finished work on the web site for Just Splash, a company offering new French investment property to the UK market. The site was built on a tight budget but still required high design values to ensure it stands out in this crowded market. Includes a search for property map linked to the PHP database, strong branding, company stationery and online marketing. The site can be viewed at www.justsplash.com.
01/10/03 Speed Dating web site launched
The One Fine Date speed dating web site was launched today. This was a budget web site which needed to reflect the fun aspect of speed dating. Due to their signing up for Service360 the web site shot to number one in the search engines and started receiving bookings on the first day. We also designed all the company stationery and marketing material. The site can be viewed at www.onefinedate.co.uk.
01/10/03 video stock library site completed
Integralvision has completed the first phase of developing an online video stock library on behalf of clients. We are still waiting for the video content and so the launch date has been put back until 2004. They are currently shooting footage in South Africa. Due to a confidentiality clause we can't yet let you see it but we will ensure there is a big fanfare when it eventually launches.
01/09/03 new sales manager joins Integralvision
We are pleased to welcome Jim Crowder as our new Sales Manager. Jim has clocked up over 25 years of experience in the IT industry ranging from software development to marketing and sales. Working extensively in Europe and the US, Jim was formally the European Technical Manager for Digital.
01/07/03 Ashburton Broadband web site
Integralvision is behind a campaign to get Ashburton switched on to Broadband. We have produced a dedicated web site for this here. On the back of this campaign we expect to be able to supply cheap business Broadband to any of our clients in Devon as soon as their local exchanges become enabled.
16/06/03 video stock library site underway
Integralvision has started work on a three month project to create an exciting site for a video stock library. The web site is still under development. Expected launch date, 1st October 2003.
01/06/03 GridMagic project starts
This project came in at the last minute and within a few weeks we had the contract signed. Grid Magic is a graphics program for kids of all ages. Developed by Q4 Technologies, we have had great fun playing with the software (well, it is for kids). This project calls for us to design a template for their programmers to build the site from. We have also been asked to create a series of Flash games to entertain the kids while they are on the site.
01/03/03 Ocean Publishing web site started
Beating off stiff competition from other local companies, we started work on a web site for this successful poster publishing company. The job includes a sophisticated backend system for sales, affiliates area, etc. The project was put on hold while we waited for the client to organise his third party payment system. The web site is still under development but can be viewed at www.oceanpublishing.com.
03/01/03 Ultimate Game web site
Ultimate Game spent a lot of time checking out suitable web design companies. They had meetings with agencies throughout the UK, including a London company before settling on Integralvision. Ultimate Game seeks to be the ultimate competition site in the UK. The project involved the complex integration of Flash with a PHP database. After seven weeks intensive work, the site went live 1/2/03. The web site can be viewed at www.ultimate-game.co.uk.
